All sliding doors are either very tight or they may be glued in the open position shown in the photos. This Athearn Blue-box Great Northern 50′ Box Car features a finely printed shell with good lettering, a metal weight that gets installed under a plastic floorboard and above the underlying plastic frame, frame-mounted coupler pockets, and plastic trucks with low profile plastic wheels that have metal axles. NMRA standard hornhook couplers come with each kit and can easily be switched-out with other couplers. 1 coupler install needed.
