N scale Life-Like 7128 Southern GP-18 High Nose Diesel Engine Locomotive #175A CoG (Central of Georgia) without Dynamic Brakes.

This EXCELLENT, Great running, N scale, DC locomotive has 8-Wheel Power pickup, 8-Wheel Drive, a fantastic black Tuxedo paint scheme with white sash, gold pinstripe, and crisp gold lettering.   The locomotive has good weight to it, front and rear lights, medium flange blackened brass wheels, sprung Rapido couplers, and lots of great details.  The shell has molded grab iron, lifting hooks, an elevated bell, finely crafted horn, sturdy handrails, windows with clear (plastic) glass, and diagonal white & black reflective caution stripes on the front and rear.  The 2-axle trucks are very detailed.  The road number is 175A and the initials “C.o.G.” appear underneath the road number on both sides of the cab, which I believe stands for “Central of Georgia.”  If all you do is LOOK at this locomotive or put it in a display case, it is a real piece of art.  Life-Like did a wonderful job on this Southern GP18 High Nose Diesel locomotive.  It would make a great addition to a Southern model railroad exhibit, layout, or empire.

This diesel engine runs very well.  I may be the only person who has run this item.  The Consignor mentioned that he did not operate it.  I tested it to be certain that it works.  It has been run for less than 10 minutes by me.  The video shows you just how well this locomotive operates.  It does have a high-speed that appears to be much faster than the capabilities of its real prototype.  The locomotive comes in its original clear plastic jewel case with all original paperwork inside underneath the plastic carton that the locomotive sleeps in.
