Mattel’s SOLO in the SPOTLIGHT Barbie Doll is a Special Edition Reproduction 11-1/2″ (1:6 scale) Fashion Doll from the 1960’s. Mattel has done it again (literally). They made another run of this fabulous Barbie Doll. She sets the stage in her metallic Black dress. Her long flowing Brunette ponytail hair, luscious lips, and blue eyes will mesmerize you when she stands in from of the microphone. Put on your favorite 33-1/3″ record album and you can imagine yourself as Barbie in a famous night club singing her heart to a captivated crowd, or you be one of the spectators eyeballing her performance and cheering her on. Whatever your pleasure, this Barbie doll NEEDS to be a part of your collection.
This Barbie Doll is NEW, has never been opened, comes in its original display box (which is a little fragile and shows indications of being slightly depressed in a couple areas as a result of being stored for years in a large tub with other dolls). Hopefully you will find a nice shelve or enclosed case to store this Barbie in or perhaps you’ll open her up and play with her.
The CONTENTS statement on the bottom of the box states: Doll, metallic knit gown, scarf, long gloves, necklace, earrings, shoes, microphone, doll stand.
Age Grade: Not for ages under 3 years.
Note this age-related statement on the top left side of the box: “For ages 7 years and over.”
On a bottom corner of the box is this statement: “Not intended to be used with original 1960’s doll stand.”
