HO scale Walthers Trainline Great Northern ALCO FB-1 Powered Ready-to-Run Diesel Engine Locomotive #310-B.

This DC powered ALCO FB-1 diesel by Walthers is a consigned item.  It features low-profile metal wheels, 8-Wheel drive with all-wheel power-pickup, and Kadee sprung metal knuckle couplers.  This paint scheme features Pullman Green (looks almost like a dull grayish green to me), Omaha Orange, Golden letters, and a non-prototypical white pinstripe line around the bottom of the shell.  The lettering is fairly crisp.  All the original detail accents are still present on the locomotive EXCEPT for the BELL.  A small white dot on the top of the shell is present where the bell used to be.  I have attempted to highlight this in one of the photos.  For the most part, it is believed that this locomotive is in good shape.  This locomotive ran the first time I put it on the tracks and tested it.  It runs flawlessly.

Walthers states that these workhorses feature colorful period paint and lettering to make them a must for vintage rosters. Locos feature cast metal frame, all-wheel drive and electrical pickup, powerful motor with flywheel, and body-mounted couplers.  A matching FA-1 locomotive is available too.

Walthers has released some very nice model railroad equipment over the years. Their Trainline Great Northern ALCO F units fall right in line with features characteristic of the quality they have become known for. While these units may have some age on them, they are in Excellent condition.  Altogether the owner consigned at least 5 Great Northern diesels.  All of them will eventually be up for sale on here.  Continue to review my listings daily for the wonderful items that are available.  The trains available at ShowMyHobby will be great stocking stuffers and spectacular add-ons throughout Christmas, New Years and Beyond.
