This SF181040 4-Bay Hopper Car came with Removable Resin simulated coal load. The owner added loose coal underneath. The car weighs 6.1 oz with no load. It should only weigh 5.88 oz. It has a Ziploc bag of loose coal that weighs 5.4 oz. All the loose coal makes the car weigh 12.9 oz. It looks okay with only the loose coal but the coal doesn’t come up to the top. I didn’t weigh the simulated resin coal piece but it can be placed on top of the loose coal which is how the owner had it. The car may be too heavy for any locomotive to pull. Untested. Brush cleaned and weighed on 2/16/2023. Priced to include the coal at a bargain.
